1985 Wayne Hill founder and director of Windspeed Yachts developed his first 12m sailing catamaran at age 19.
1985 Develops first underwing length, hull inboard flair.

2003 Design Windspeed 48. This design also known as the Mumby 48, she becomes the most popular and successful aluminum cruising catamaran ever designed, with over 1,000,000nm under the hulls.

While our passion and main business is producing sailing and power catamarans,
over the years the design innovation and value of Windspeed Yachts composite technology became apparent to many leading manufactures,
we have formed mutually beneficial alliances to produce composite products for others.
We solved their problems while adding value to their products.
2006 Design the first fishing kayak, and produced the rotomolding tooling plug.
2006 Develops first composite panel kits for caravans, 5th wheelers, motorhomes, trailers and trucks.
2006 Develops vanity basin plugs and mass production molds for house bathrooms.
2008 Design the first 2 person fishing kayak, and produced the rotomolding tooling plug.
2008 Develops large rollable composite sheets, enabling easy transportation.
2008 Develops our unique composite panel jointing system.
2008 Develops CNC machining expertise for accurate cutting of our composite panels.
2009 First export shipment of our CNC cut composite panel kits for yacht construction.

2010 After 25 years of innovative yacht design and composite manufacturing excellence Windspeed Yachts founder and director Wayne Hill retrains as a superyacht captain, 200ton commercial for global operation and sets sail.
